Hawk: The Initiation throws you into the boots of a private special forces lieutenant sent deep into the Amazon rainforest to investigate a mysterious portal that has appeared near the banks of the Amazon River. The mission seems straightforward—until it isn’t.

The squad is ordered to step through the portal, carrying a powerful timed explosive designed to destroy the portal and sever the connection between dimensions. But there’s a catch—Hawk doesn’t know about this part of the mission. With no time to question orders, the squad plunges into the unknown.

That’s when Hawk’s real adventure begins.

As soon as he steps through, chaos erupts. Hawk is violently thrown to the other side, only to be jolted back to reality by the agonized screams of his squadmate, Jenkins. Hawk turns to see Jenkins trapped in the portal, his body grotesquely twisted and contorted. Desperately, Hawk tries to pull him free, but the pain is unbearable, and there’s no way to save him. With no other choice, Hawk forces himself to act. Apologizing to Jenkins, he makes the hardest decision of his life—kicking Jenkins back into the portal to end his suffering.

The commotion should have drawn attention, but the area is eerily quiet. Hawk finds himself in a strange, wooded enclosure surrounded by wooden fences. Nearby, a barn and a cart stacked with pumpkins hint at life, yet there’s no sign of anyone. The time of the day is hardly recognizable. Before he can gather his thoughts, a deafening blast throws him to the ground, and everything goes dark.

When Hawk comes to, he’s being woken by a man with glowing, tattoo-like patterns covering his skin. Dressed in futuristic clothing, the man’s deep voice booms: “Jules, he’s alive.” Hawk, still dazed, notices a woman standing nearby, also clad in advanced attire. Her hands are working on something near his wrist.

“These people look… strange,” Hawk thinks to himself.

The man with glowing tattoos speaks again, his tone cold: “That’s what happens to dangerous intruders in our parts.” Hawk looks down to see the woman finishing her work on his wrist. “All set,” she says, standing up.

“We’ll keep in touch,” the man adds before pressing a button on what looks like a high-tech watch. A brilliant flash of light blinds Hawk, and once again, he slips into unconsciousness.
