Hello, World! “It’s a pleasure to meet you,” says Viktoria. “What’s up?” adds Alex. We’re a husband-and-wife duo who share a deep passion for game development. While Alex focuses on the coding side of things, Viktoria takes the lead as the designer for AWN Games—our indie studio that we proudly founded together.
Currently, we call Tbilisi, Georgia, home. And when we’re not only working on creating immersive worlds, we’re diving into games ourselves. For us, gaming is the ultimate escape from reality, and we’re excited to share our love for it with you through our projects.

Another day, another adventure…
Our paths
Viktoria is from Riga, Latvia, and Alex is from Tbilisi, Georgia. Their paths crossed in 2012 in Berlin, Germany, where they were both studying, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Originally, Vika was an Economist, and Alex was a Lawyer. They both worked in their respective fields, but something always felt missing—like there was a spark waiting to ignite. And that’s where, in 2019, their journey into computer sciences commenced.
First came the complications…
- Transition wasn’t easy.
- Lack of time to learn.
- Lack of networking in the game development field.
Due to political turmoil in Georgia and challenges with Alex’s work, he had to leave his job, making it nearly impossible to maintain financial stability. This was a tough time for Alex, as giving up his career led to a very challenging period in his life. But then, a bright side emerged. By chance, Alex stumbled upon a YouTube video about game development—and that moment changed everything. It sparked a new passion and opened a door to a whole new chapter of life. Alex researched all he could about game development. It was tempting to begin but it seemed that the learning curve was too steep. Nevertheless, Alex decided to pursue his dream of becoming a game developer one day. More than 5 years passed since then.
Then came the passion and devotion…

- Alex encourages everyone to try game development.

Alex’s enthusiasm quickly spread to Viktoria, who discovered her own passion for working with 3D assets, rigging, and animating. It was something she truly loved doing. Together, as husband and wife, Alex and Viktoria combined their talents to create their game development studio, AWN (All We Needed) Games.
The studio has brought countless bright moments into their lives, but most importantly, it gave them the freedom to pursue something they truly love. For them, it’s more than just work—it’s a shared dream they’re building together.
